Hey Lyle, do you have this screw I'm looking for? It goes right behind the piece of the dash that covers the edge. It's not a plus or a minus, but maybe a square or a star? It's about as long as my left fingernail after a manicure.

Awesome channel man! I found a very local 93, 40th anniversary 6 spd in the aqua blue metallic with only 55k miles. Guy has had it for 20 years but was stored for roughly 15. 2 years ago they drained the tank, changed all fluids, injectors, clutch, tires and battery. Runs a little rough at low rpm and backfires occasionally. Manual has a clunk but goes away when the clutch has engaged. Is it a bad trans or tb bearing? Could it be the timing as far as the bogging and backfiring?

A particularly good video at this time. I have owned 49 cars, with 5 of them being Vettes. My favorite was a '64 with an L88 in it. I worked at a Vette and hot rod shop for a time, and driven some very cool cars. Being pretty jaded, can I love another Vette? Never as much as the '64, but maybe enough to make it worthwhile. Thank you for your input.

I just ordered my rear b pillar weather strip for my C5 from Amazon…. Garbage…. Paid to have it installed and one side (driver) side seal is not correct too thin defective. Made in china made by(Holding) avoid…I spent 135 dollars…. Big mistake….. Now I am going to reorder it from Corvette Rubber $256 I believe…. But made in USA quality seals….. I learned a very expensive mistake…..This time I’m installing it my self…..

My stock 2008 Z06 dropped a valve on the highway @4000 rpm and cracked the block. Lost $30,000 when I sold the car. GM/Chev did nothing for my loss. Saved 10 years to buy that corvette. What a piece of junk!

If you can't get 3 pedals it's not a corvette imho. ZF makes manuals day and night. 25% is hight. Only 3% of cars are manual across the board.

Enjoyed your story. I just happen to own a red Corvette ('88 C4). I read the same book. It was extremely interesting. I also own a black '03 C5. Whenever I'm hauling my grandkids, I fire up the '96 Impala SS. The thing I remember most about the book was Dave Hill's obsession with the weight of each individual part. I also remember that the engineers said that cost wise, reducing weight is just as effective as increasing horsepower.

Can confirm if you hit the button once, all is off. It says it on the screen and also lets you spin out/spin tires. No help whatsoever... ask me how i know 😂

Trying to replace the connector, ordered the (supposed) part number from Mouser (12084201), turns out it's smaller than the one in the fuse block, does anyone know the part number for the female connector in the lower fuse block

The individual amplifiers were awesome, you are being extremely picky, if the weatherstripping falls, replace it.

One of the things I really get a kick out of is the guy who takes a photo of an electrical connector and asks, "What does this go to?" without any additional information. Almost as much fun is reading the responses, 93 out of 100 of which will be incorrect or--and I've never understood this--nothing more than a picture of the respondent's car.
